there is no more truth

this blog has been dying more and more with the change of my current mood and way of taking pictures. I've felt stuck in the same concept and style for a long time since I've blogged here for five years. so I've recently started a new project, called "diamanter och smågrus" (dmtr.se). it's a photo blog witch will be more varied, not only "wonderful backlight and pretty girls in beautiful settings" as the concept of this blog was. and the entries will vary in length and I will post a lot. So click the pic to reach it. I hope you'll like it!

we're the younger generation, we grew up fast

no i'm not really gone or dead, i just forgot you. i will hopefully do better this summer. anyway, i want to tell all of you who lives in stockholm that on thursday the 5th of july i will have an exhibition together with several other young aspiring photographers at the club closer at F12. join this group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/klubbcloser/ to get on the list!

Taste hope in my skin and faith with the dawn

I've got so many unpublished pictures from the last two months that I don't even know where to begin. so I chose to start from the end. these are some pictures from a sunny afternoon/evening last sunday in my favourite park in paris, parc des buttes chaumont.

we will know freedom at last

Walked into the winter, came out on the other side

just some snapshots from one of the first spring days back in march

And so I raise my glass to symmetry, to the second hand and it's accuracy, to the actual size of everything, the desert is the sand

a couple of weeks ago we went to versailles to discover the symmetry and beauty of the place

some do magic and some do harm, i'm holding on, holding on.

i'm trying to work out what i want this blog to be like. if it should be kind of a photo journal with long entries with a lot of mixed photos (as it has been for a while now) or if i should just start post shorter entries with more consistent themes (like this one) and post more often. what do you think?

j'y suis jamais allé

a couple of weeks ago i went to the colette carnival here in paris and bought a couple of new film packs for my polaroid camera! i've promised myself to shoot more polaroid (and just ignore that it's expensive) and here are the results from the past weeks.

And every once in a while I'd sing a song for you that would rise above the mountains and the stars and the sea

paris paris paris

And I know I am naive, but if anything that's what's going to save me

more snapshots from late february/early march

Jumped in the river, what did I see? Black-eyed angels swam with me.

some more snapshots from the past weeks

Let's go down the waterfall, have ourselves a good time, it's nothing at all, it's nothing at all

we live here now

She is papering the window panes, she is putting on a smile, living in a glass house

we live on the edge of a cliff by the sea, the wind never really stops howling here. but that's ok and anyway you're turning twenty tomorrow, so congratulations!

paris mon amor

hi! long time since last post. a couple of months ago i decided to put away my camera in the topmost corner of my home until february the 2nd when i will move to paris (!!) with my friend karin. i guess that i wanted to find new energy and inspiration to shoot, since i've been completely drowned of it for a while now. but i've been shooting a bit lately so there might be another post before paris. otherwise, if you want to see what i've been up to while not posting here check my instagram (olofgrind is my account). i can't wait to move to paris btw, i'm so excited. here are two polaroids from past visits to paris:

Wilderness for miles, eyes so mild and wise

I was visiting my childhood friends on Österlen last week, and we went up walking at Ales stenar one night. Since there is barely no artificial light for miles, the cloudless sky was incredible, so filled with stars.

I'm up in the woods, I'm down on my mind, I'm building a still to slow down the time

Way Out West 2011

Some frames from the festival way out west in gothenburg in mid-august.

Now to me, everything else, it just sounds like a lie

I'm driving around in the northern parts of the country in weekly intervals with my job, so this was last week through my iphone on a winding road on the top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere.
